Oil filter wrench is a tool used to disassemble and assemble oil filters, mainly including belt, pliers, chain, three-jaw and cap, among which the chain type and three-jaw type belong to the universal oil filter wrench.

There are different methods for using an oil filter wrench. The cup wrench is suitable for the multi-edge surface on the top of the oil filter, similar to a socket wrench, and it can be rotated counterclockwise on the multi-edged surface.

The ring wrench is suitable for oil filters, and the ring part snaps on the edge appropriately according to the size of the filter by pressing the handle after putting the top edge of the oil filter.

The three-jaw wrench needs to be matched, and the socket handle is adjusted according to the size of the oil filter to match the edge of the filter, and then put on the top of the oil filter.

When disassembling and assembling the oil filter, place the oil filter disassembly tool near the end of the oil filter, and use counterclockwise force to remove it, and operate in the opposite direction during installation.

It is important to note that because the oil filter is of different sizes and positions for different engines, some wrenches are not suitable for all models. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the appropriate oil filter wrench according to the actual situation and operate it correctly to successfully complete the disassembly and assembly of the oil filter.
